Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night.
— Edgar Allan Poe
I'm a graphic designer with a passion for keeping things interesting. I'm a classically trained ballroom dancer, a sword fighter, a paranormal investigator. If that isn't enough, I also collect antique cast iron pans, play the oboe, and have a turtle named Pickle. I'm a designer by trade, but being creative is a lifestyle, and one that I'm fully committed to. I thrive in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and love creating something new!
Over the last several years, I've worked with dozens of high-profile clients in higher education and non-profit organizations, such as Johns Hopkins Medicine, Ole Miss, the University at Buffalo, and Columbia University. I enjoy working side-by-side with each of my clients to create campaigns, logos, websites, and more. Since starting my creative journey, I've won over two dozen awards for marketing, fundraising, and my own personal work. More importantly, I've been able to use this opportunity to develop my passions, refine my professional skills, and to continue learning and growing.
In my free time, I've curated a growing collection of curiosities as a way to stretch my creativity and put my marketing skills to the test. Steeped in esoterica and my heavy metal roots, Ace of Graves is a small studio that I've created to make and sell hard enamel pins. Explore more of my work on Instagram and Etsy.
As a young designer, I've been personally involved with the changing target demographic of higher education, which provides valuable insight and allows me to make informed choices about my designs.
Austin College has been been my client for the past two years, and have quickly become one of my favorites. Not only are these exciting pieces; they are also award‑winning!
Another award-winning client, Johns Hopkins has been my pride and joy for the last several years. With an intense focus on team collaboration and brand harmony, we create over 200 unique emails per year.
The Doctors' Day logo and theme were concepted, designed, and incorporated by our team!
While the body of the East Baltimore emails usually stays the same, the real excitement comes from designing piece-specific headers. Animation is one of my favorite ways to highlight the messaging of a piece.
The body of most Sibley emails stays consisent in style, however each email gets a unique header. Whenever stats are involved, I always make an animated .gif to highlight them.
Wilmer is a unique partner hospital. Since it's an institute for vision, I always design a low-vision version of each email, so that donors with vision impairments can still play an active role in the Johns Hopkins community.
In addition to my professional work, I always set aside time time for personal projects. Some are pro-bono, some are freelance, and others are just for the fun of it. All are created with passion.
Ethan Encounters is an offshoot of the team Paranormal Exposures (keep scrolling to see more!). This subset focuses on the call of adventure and strives for authenticity and excitement.
Paranormal Exposures is the mother brand for Ethan Encounters. They're a paranormal team with a passion for presenting evidence of a world beyond this one. Their goal is to reveal the unknown in a professional, safe, and respectful way.
